1.Financial Resolution and Deposit Insurance Bill 2017
Union Cabinet has given its nod the proposal to introduce a financial Resolution and deposit insurance bill, 2017, which will provide for comprehensive resolution framework for specified financial sector entities to deal with bankruptcy situation in banks, insurance companies and financial sector entities
2.Union Cabinet approves MoU on agriculture cooperation with Palestine
The Union Cabinet has given its nod to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Palestine on agriculture cooperation.
It provides for cooperation in the fields of agricultural research; Veterinary field including capacity enhancement of Palestinian Veterinary services and Animal Health; irrigation and climate change and more
3.The national physical laboratory host accurate clocks in the country
The National physical laboratory situated in New Delhi host an accurate clock in the country and it’s the only agency in India authorised to maintain Indian Standard Time (IST).
