MoU signed between India and Senegal in the field
of Health and Medicine
The Union Cabinet has given its nod for signing a
MoU (Memorandum of Understanding between India and Senegal in field of Health
and Medicine.
The Cabinet meeting was chaired by Prime Minister
Narendra Modi
As per the MoU the main areas of cooperation are
integrated disease surveillance,medical research, hospital management,
emergency relief, drugs and pharmaceutical products/hospital equipment, traditional medicine, AIDS Control and other areas of interest.
As per the Mou the working group will be set up to
elaborate on cooperation and oversee implementation.
