India, Rwanda signs 3 MoUs in Innovation, aviation and visa deals.


India and Rwanda has signed 3 MoUs in Innovation, Aviation sectors and visa requirements during the Vice President Hamid Ansari’s visit to the Rwanda, which will boost the bilateral relationship between the countries.

As per the MoU , both India and Rwanda have concluded a bilateral Air services agreeing for direct flight between Kigali and Mumbai in April.

The other MoUs are to set up an entrepreneurial development centre in Rwanda and mutually exempt from visa requirement for entry of diplomatic and official passport holder.

The MoUs were signed during India-Rwanda business forum organised by FICCI and Rwandan Government.

Rwandan Prime Minister Anastase Murekezi said that this will boost the bilateral relationship between the countries. He also said that , Rwandan Government wants to encourage tourism, also they want Bollywood films to be short in Rwanda, which will help to develop tourism sector in Rwanda.
