Corbett Tiger Reserve Gets nod to kill poachers.


The Corbett Tiger Reserve located in Uttarakhand, get not shoot at sight against poachers, but the order is only for self-protection against poachers carrying Arms.

According to the data ,112 tigers have died between November 2000 to November 2016, which includes 56 natural deaths, 19 deaths due to mutual fight, 17 deaths due to accident and 6 deaths due to poaching.

About Corbett Tiger Reserve:

The Corbett Tiger Reserve is located in Nainital district of Uttarakhand, it is the oldest national park in India. It was established in 1936 to protect the endangered Bengal Tiger. It is known for its rich Flora and Fauna and especially its Bengal Tigers.
