1. India Granted $500 million to Vietnam to deepen their Defense Cooperation and also signed 12 new Agreements.

Vietnamese Prime minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said that India and Vietnam decided to elevate their strategic ties to Comprehensive strategic partnership. Vietnam had  Comprehensive strategic partnership only with Russia and China.

2. US and China has ratified the Paris climate Deal during G-20 meet held in Hangzhou (China).

Paris Climate Deal aims to limit the Global Temperature increases to 2 degree centigrade. India is yet to ratified the Paris climate Deal.

3.Pope Francis will declare Mother Teresa as Saint today in Vatican city for the extraordinary service done by Mother Teresa to the poor and needy people. Earlier she was awarded Noble prize for Peace in 1979.

1. National Green Tribunal (NGT) has given clearance for the construction of Vizhinjam International Seaport Ltd(VISL) . NGT has said that it is crucial for economic development of the country.

Vizhinjam International Seaport is located near Trivandrum, Kerala.

1. Visitng Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi has planning to sign agreements on bilateral and trade cooperation with Indian Prime minister Narendra Modi on friday morning in New Delhi.

The most important agreement will be $8.2 billion New Suez Canal Project, which he called the great opportunity for the Indian Businessman to Invest in Egypt.

2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has begin tour to Vietnam, from there he will be heading to Hangzhou in China for G-20 summit 2016

1. Bezwada Wilson  has awarded Ramon Magsaysay award 2016 for his outstanding social work to eradicate manual scavenging through organisation Safai Karmachari Andolan.

T.M Krishna has also awarded Ramon Magsaysay award for music to taking Carnatic music to the masses.

Four others who received the award are

2.Dompet Dhufa (Indonesia)

3.Japan Overseas Cooperation volunteers

4.Vientiane Rescue of Laos

  

Ramon Magsaysay award is an annual award to perpetuate former Philippines president Ramon Magsaysay, which is estabished on 1957 for courageous service to the people, and pragmatic idealism within a democratic society by the trustee of Rockfeller brothers fund based on US. This award is considered as Asia's Nobel Prize.

1. India and U.S has signed the Logistics Exchange Memorandum of Agreement (LEMOA).

    LEMOA which help the militaries of both the country to access each other's facilities for supplies and  repairs. This Agreement which includes joint exercises, Joint training, port visits and humanitarian assistance and disaster relief efforts.

Logistics Exchange Memorandum of Agreement which doesn't include offering the military base.

1. Indian Space Research Organisation successfully tested the "Scramjet" engine. India is only the 4th Nation who has successfully tested the Scramjet engine in Satish Dhawan Space Center, Sriharikota.

The Scramjet Engine works on 'Air Breathing ' philosophy which helps to reduces the amount of oxidiser to be carried with Fuel instead it will get oxygen from atmosphere as oxidiser. It helps in bringing down the Launch Cost.
