1.Tamil Nadu Government has launched the water management scheme-Kudimaramathu

'Tamil Nadu Government has launched the traditional water resource management system "Kudimaramathu" project, at Manimangalam, near kancheepuram dist

'Chief Minister K.Palaniswami to inaugurated Kudimaramathu, a traditional water resource management system involving General public in the time of drought which aims to rejuvenate water bodies in 30 districts at a cost of 100 crore.

2.NTPC Installs India’s Largest Floating Solar Photo voltaic in Kayamkulam, Kerala.

NTPC has installed India’s largest Floating Solar photovoltaic generation plant with the capacity of 100 kWp at Rajiv Gandhi Combined Cycle Power Plant (RGCCPP) in Kerala’s Kayamkulam district

3.India test fired BrahMos Extended Range missile successfully.

India Test Fired BrahMos  supersonic extended range missile successfully from a test range at Odisha. It has the extended range of 450 km against earlier 290 km and which can capable of carrying a warhead of 300 kg.

The BrahMos Supersoic Supersonic Cruise missile has been test fired on Monday from  integrated test range Chandipur at sea in Balasore , off the Odisha coast Successfully.

4.New Chairman of Central Water Commission-Narendra Kumar.

Narendra Kumar was appointed as the new chairman of Central Water commission.

5. UNICEF report- 2016 was the worst year for Syrian Children,

As per UNICEF report, 2016 year was the worst year for Syrian children, around 652 children were killed in 2016.
