1.India to launch Cartosat- 2E and 30 satellites
Indian Space research Organisation (ISRO) will launch it earth observation satellite Cartosat-2E series and 30 other satellites with its rocket polar satellite launch vehicle (PSLV) on Friday.
The total weight of all satellite is 955 kg, in this Cartosat weight about 712 kg and other 30 satellite will together weigh 243 kg.
2.The first indigenously built Floating Dock (FDN-2) Launched.
India’s First indigenously built floating Dock (FDN-2) for Indian Navy was launched at Larsen & Toubro Ltd (L&T) Shipyard at Kattupalli near Chennai.
3.India and Portugal Signed Cooperation in the Field of Archives
National Archives of India and the Minister of Culture of the Portuguese Republic has signed protocol of cooperation in the field of archives in Lisbon, Portugal.
As per protocol, the Torre do Tombo (National Archives of Portugal) handed over digital copies of 62 volumes of the collection known as ‘Moncoes do Reino’ (Monsoon correspondence) to the National Archives of India.
4.India renominates Justice Dalveer Bhandari to International Court of Justice:
India has renominated Justice Dalveer Bhandari as its candidate for another nine year term as judge of the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
International Court of Justice is also known as World Court which is based in Hague, Netherland.
5.2017 BIO International Convention.
The Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) BIO 2017 is being held in the San Diego Convention Centre, San Diego, US from 19th June to 22nd June.
