1. Indian Space Research Organisation successfully tested the "Scramjet" engine. India is only the 4th Nation who has successfully tested the Scramjet engine in Satish Dhawan Space Center, Sriharikota.
The Scramjet Engine works on 'Air Breathing ' philosophy which helps to reduces the amount of oxidiser to be carried with Fuel instead it will get oxygen from atmosphere as oxidiser. It helps in bringing down the Launch Cost.
