1.Indian Navy to induct submarine Kalvari in July.
Indian Navy to induct first of six Scorpene submarines in July. Admiral Lamba said Kalvari is going through its final phase of trials and we are hopeful that in July-August we will take delivery.
It is the first of the six submarines being built at Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited in collaboration with m/s DCNS of France as a part of project 75 of Indian Navy
2.Department of Consumer Affairs celebrated Swachhta Pakhwada.
The Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution celebrated Swachhta Pakhwada from 16th to 31st May, 2017 for successful completion of the Swachhta Pakhwada which is the part of Union Government’s Swachh Bharat mission.
